The World Half Marathon and 10k Championships for elite Athletes with Intellectual Impairment will be held April 10-13, 2023 in Portugal. AWL will manage selection and travel for a US Team based on athlete interest and trip viability.

The 2026 Virtus Americas Regional Championships will be the inaugural regional event due to cancellations during COVID-19 pandemic. Regional events will be held in the year preceding the Virtus Global Games, which are held every four years.
