Who’s Eligible for U.S. Paralympic Events:

Paralympic meets are open to swimmers with a physical, visual impairment, or intellectual impairments (Class S14).

To be eligible for the S-14 Class athletes must meet all criteria for our Virtus II1 Group for Intellectual Disability.
This includes some athletes with Autism if they also have Intellectual Disability.
This includes athletes with Down Syndrome (Virtus II2) since they also have Intellectual Disability.
