Who’s Eligible?
- To be selected for Athletes Without Limits US National Teams competing at this event athletes must meet all of the following requirements:
- Have full Virtus II1, II2, II3 International Level Eligiblity
- Meet the minimum qualifying standards in their sport (during the qualification period) and/or be internationally competitive with level of event
- Be 16 or older and able to stay with the Teams & Coaches in a separate Team hotel during @10 day trip overseas.
Most athletes fly to the event with their parents before moving into the Teams hotel — Parents arrange their own nearby accommodation if they attend as spectators. This is an incredible opportunity for the athletes to bond with teammates across sports and athletes from other countries.
(Note: Athletes under age 16 will be considered on a case-by-case basis to determine if they are ready for an overseas team trip.)
