New in 2026! Move United to include all three Virtus Eligibility Groups (II1, II2, II3) at The Hartford Nationals in June

Move United’s multi-sport National event —The Hartford Nationals — which aligns with Paralympic Classes so has been open to Virtus II1/II2 athletes with Intellectual Disability—will now also include Virtus II3 athletes in our our Open Autism group in all sports including: Swimming, Track & Field, and Triathlon (plus Boccia, Archery, Powerlifting & Shooting).

Virtus II1 – Intellectual Disability (Autism with Intellectual Disability):

    • Shall compete as S14 for swimming
    • Shall compete as T/F20 for track and field
    • Shall compete as MU91 for archery, para powerlifting, paratriathlon, and shooting
    • Shall compete as Bc8 for boccia

Virtus II2 – Intellectual Disability and Down Syndrome or similar significant additional impairment:

    • Shall compete as S18 for swimming
    • Shall compete as T/F22 for track and field
    • Shall compete as MU91 for archery, para powerlifting, paratriathlon, and shooting
    • Shall compete as Bc8 for boccia

Virtus II3 – Autism Open:

    • Shall compete as S19 for swimming
    • Shall compete as T/F23 for track and field
    • Shall compete as MU91 for archery, boccia, para powerlifting, paratriathlon, and shooting
