Miller Family Open Para Track & Field Meet (University of Michigan)
June 28 - June 30
Athletes Without Limits is partnering with University of Michigan Adaptive Sports to provide athletes with intellectual disability, down syndrome and autism with the opportunity to the inaugural Miller Family Open Para Track and Field Meet at the U of M track.
This will be a ground-breaking opportunity for US and international athletes to compete at a world class facility. In addition to established national athletes, newer athletes ages 14+ are invited to attend as the meet will also serve as an AWL and U.S. Paralympic Track & Field Talent Identification event.

Schedule:
- Friday June 28th: Practice and try outs with AWL coaches + information session about AWL/Virtus/USParalympic pathways for athletes with intellectual disabilities
- Saturday June 29th: Running Events
- Sunday June 30th: Field Events
Athletes will be placed in one of three classes: Intellectual Disability (II1), Down Syndrome + (II2), Autism (II3) using the AWL/Virtus eligibility groups. Athletes are encouraged to have applied to Athletes Without Limits for Virtus/Paralympic eligibility but it is not required to compete in this meet.
Coach/Caregiver credentials are available for athletes requiring assistance.
We hope to see athletes from around the country come to Ann Arbor and the beautiful University of Michigan campus and athletic facilities for this important competition!
