Athletes Without Limits only provides eligibility confirmation for this event for players with Intellectual Impairments.
Athletes should register directly with the event and organize their own travel and participation at.

ATHLETES WITHOUT LIMITS NATIONAL TEAM QUALIFIER!
For athletes with intellectual impairments, results from this event can help athletes qualify for the Athletes Without Limits National Team traveling to the 2026 Virtus Americas Regional Championships in Peru.
PARA POOMSAE
This event includes Para Poomsae for competitors in all three Virtus Groups as recognized by World Taekwondo as noted on page 4 of the USATKD 2026 U.S. Open Para Poomsae Information Packet:
- P21/Virtus II-1 Intellectual Disability (Includes Autism with ID)
- P22/Virtus II-2 Intellectual Disability and Down Syndrome (or similar Additional Impairments)
- P23/Virtus II-3 Autism (for athletes who don’t also meet Virtus II1 Criteria for ID)
Eligible athletes are posted to our US National Taekwondo Eligibility List.
US athletes with intellectual Impairments who have not done so already should Apply for Virtus eligibility through Athletes Without Limits. Note: We have been receiving a significantly higher than usual number of applications so please apply as early as possible.
