Virtus Regional Championships for athletes with intellectual impairments offer athletes from each of the five Virtus regions (Americas, Oceania, Europe, Asia) a high-level event one year prior to the Virtus Global Games World Championships (which are held every four years). As the US member of Virtus, Athletes Without Limits will field a US Team to this inaugural event based on athlete interest in the sports offered.
