Athletes Without Limits is partnering with University of Michigan Adaptive Sports to provide athletes with intellectual disability, down syndrome and autism with the opportunity to the inaugural Miller Family Open Para Track and Field Meet at the U of M track. The meet offers an incredible opportunity for US and international athletes to compete at a world class facility. Virtus Regional Championships for athletes with intellectual impairments offer athletes from each of the five Virtus regions (Americas, Oceania, Europe, Asia) a high-level event one year prior to the Virtus Global Games World Championships (which are held every four years). Just announced! The 2027 Virtus Global Games will be held in Cairo, Egypt! Read the February 28, 2024 announcement & Video. Held every four years the Virtus Global Games is the World Championships for Athletes with Intellectual Impairment in 10+ summer sports.
