O’Rourke finishes strong at Nation’s Tri
When Athletes Without Limits co-founders Julie & Barry Holman first met Sean O'Rourke it was at a Disability Cross-Country event near their hometown in Long Island. O'Rourke soon added swimming and cycling to his workout mix and competed in small local triathlon. He then set his sights on Nations Triathlon, an epic Olympic distance triathlon at the National Mall in the heart of Washington DC.

T20 Class Now Open at US Paralympic Track & Field Nationals
For the first time in over a decade Paralympic opportunities are opening up for athletes with intellectual disability, starting with the men's 1500m for T20 (athletes with intellectual disability) at the upcoming 2010 US Paralympic Track & Field Nationals June 15-20, 2010 in Mirimar Florida.
Athletes Without Limits co-founder Barry Holman, worked together with US Paralympic to incorporate the class at this years nationals realizing the importance of the event for any athlete interested in getting into the US Team pipeline for the 2012 Paralympics.

Athletes Without Limits is excited to support US athletes who set their sites on competing in Paralympic competition
On November 21 a majority of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) membership decided in favor of the re-inclusion of athletes with an intellectual disability in competitions, including the Paralympics. This important decision restores the Olympic dream to these athletes for the first time since the Sydney 2000 Games. Read the full IPC press release.
