2015 Capital Sprints Rowing Regatta (Washington DC)

The Athletes Without Limits/DC Strokes Rowing Team competes annually at this event. “Cap Sprints” began fourteen years ago as a scrimmage among cross-town rivals and has grown into a summer racing tradition for rowing teams all over the DC area and up and down the East Coast. Each year, more than 200 youth and adult athletes with various phyiscal ability compete in 30 plus rowing categories during the day-long event, capped with music and a post-race BBQ.

2012 Athletes Without Limits DC Rowing Camp

Registration has closed for this event. Athletes Without Limits is hosting an on-water 4-day training camp for athletes with intellectual disability interested in rowing with our Rowing Team at local and national regattas. Following the camp, athletes who do not live in the DC area can train at their respective boathouses and race with the Athletes Without Limits team at regattas. Venable Foundation Donates Racing Shell to Athletes Without Limits Rowing Program

Athletes Without Limits celebrated it's newest racing shell The Venable at a special event featuring Olympic Medalist Esther Lofgren and Paralympic Bronze Medalist Sgt. Rob Jones. Generously donated by the Venable Foundation under the leadership of Doug Baldridge, The Win-Tech four-person sweep racing shell has adaptive features that allow the athletes with disabilities on our Washington DC-based Integrated Rowing Team to race and train together with their non-disabled peers.
