JUNE Update: Unfortunately, this event has been cancelled by the organizers in Brazil. The economic situation world-wide has made it impossible for many other nations in the America's region to send teams this year. We thank the Brazilian organizers for trying to host this event and hope that in the future it can be held there. The sixth edition of the Virtus Global Games will be held in Vichy, France from 4 to 10 June 2023.

From June 2-11, 2023 more than one thousand of the best athletes from around the world will compete in the quadrennial Virtus Global Games, hosted in Vichy, France for seven days of elite multi-sport competition. The Games is the World Championships for athletes with an intellectual impairment in the following sports: Basketball, Cycling, Equestrian (new), Futsal, Judo (new), Karate (new), Rowing, Swimming, Table Tennis, Taekwondo, Tennis and Track & Field/Athletics, with additional demonstration events. US Team Results from the 2019 Global Games in Brisbane Australia

Athletes Without Limits congratulates all 22 athletes who recently competed in four sports at the 2019 Global Games in Australia — and Inas is now called Virtus! We had a great time at the Inas (now called Virtus) Global Games 2019! Many personal bests, great team spirit and sportsmanship. Congratulations to the athletes who won medals and to all who gave their all to achieve.
