Athletes Without Limits is excited to be working with Dr. Mike Mignano to help expand opportunities in Golf for players with Intellectual Impairment.

Dr. Mike Mignano is a lecturer at the University of Michigan’s School of Kinesiology and a Certified Adaptive Recreation and Sports Specialist (CARSS II) with BlazeSports. He is a former college golf coach, PGA professional, and professional caddie. Mike has participated in the Special Olympics as a coach, chaperone, clinician, and volunteer since 2010 and served as Team Michigan’s Head Golf Coach for the 2014 and 2022 Special Olympics USA Games. He is the sport psychology consultant for the University of Michigan’s Adaptive Sports and Fitness program, an adaptive sports and recreation coach for the University of Michigan Adaptive and Inclusive Sports Experience (UMAISE), and a faculty advisor for Special Olympics College at U-M.
