The USDGA has announced that the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie Florida will be the host site of their 2024 USDGA Championship, set to be held April 21-24, 2024. Athletes Without Limits manages eligibility/Paralympic Classification for players with Intellectual Impairment so they can apply for the required WR4GD player pass; the deadline to apply to AWL for International Eligibility for this event is Nov 17, 2023 (in order to confirm International level Virtus II1 eligibility and WR4GD Pass in time for the Jan 17, 2024 registration deadline).
The USGA has announced that Sand Creek Station will be the host site of their 3rd U.S. Adaptive Open Championship, set to be held July 8-10, 2024. Due to cancellations during COVID-19 the 2026 Virtus Americas Regional Championships will be the inaugural event. Regional events will be held in the year preceding the Virtus Global Games, which are held every four years. AWL will manage selection and travel for a US Team to both Regional Games in Peru in 2026 and the 2027 Global Games - location and host country to be announced soon!
