Paralympic Opportunities

For Athletes with Intellectual Impairment competing in Swimming, Table Tennis and Track & Field

In 2010, working in collaboration with Inas, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) voted to re-include athletes with intellectual impairment into Paralympics competition in three sports Track & Field, Swimming & Table Tennis. As the US Virtus member, Athletes Without Limits manages the eligibility process for US athletes with intellectual disability interested in competing in Paralympic events. Interested athletes should complete our Athlete Eligibility Application for athletes with intellectual disability.
