There are athletes with intellectual disability from around the world who do achieve such great heights, but few are from the United States—we need your help to change that.
At the 2009 Global Games World Championships for athletes with intellectual disability there were 50-100 athletes each from the countries of Australia, France, Italy, Portugal, South Africa and Brazil — yet only 3 were from the US.
As the US member of INAS-FID, Athletes Without Limits offers exciting new opportunities including the recent re-inclusion of athletes with intellectual disability into the 2012 Paralympics; but we need your support to share them with deserving athletes throughout the country.
Your tax-deductible gift will go directly toward supporting US athletes with intellectual disability who have dreams of athletic excellence, ensuring they have the ongoing support and resources to compete at the highest levels of their sport and to proudly represent themselves and the United States at international world championship level competitions.
