For Athletes with Intellectual Impairment competing in Swimming, Table Tennis and Track & Field

In 2010, working in collaboration with Inas, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) voted to re-include athletes with intellectual impairment into Paralympics competition in three sports Track & Field, Swimming & Table Tennis. As the US Inas member, Athletes Without Limits manages the eligibility process for US athletes with intellectual disability interested in competing in National and International Paralympic events. Interested athletes competing in Swimming, Table Tennis or Track & Field should complete the Inas Athlete Eligibility Application for intellectual disability (the pilot Inas Downs+ and Autism+ classes are not offered in Paralympic competition). Note: US Athletes with physical or visual disabilities should go directly to the US Paralympics website for information.
