Andy has been swimming competitively in USA Swimming and Special Olympics since the age of 6. He has international experience including Special Olympics World Games and has held World Records for Down Syndrome swimmers. His is one of few US athletes with intellectual disability to have competed in the Paralympic S14 Class prior to the 10-year exclusion of athletes with intellectual disability from Paralympic competition from 2000-2009, and held several American records. Andy currently competes in US Masters Swimming (USMS) at the regional and national level and looks forward to competing in future INAS competitions with Athletes Without Limits.
