5th INAS-FID Open European Swimming Championships

Date: June 13-20, 2010

Location: Loano, Italy

Pool: 50 m outdoor Swimming Pool of Loano, P.zza Valerga 22, Loano (Sv);

Hotel: There are two options- all athletes will stay together in hotel that is selected for the USA team by Athletes Without Limits staff and the event promoters. Either Loano 2 Village or  Hotel Excelsior Loano.

Registration: Athletes Without Limits is likely to organize a trip to this event. INAS Eligibility is required; we recommend starting the process 5-6 months before the event as eligibility must be confirmed before March 15, 2010. Please contact us immediately by email at info@athleteswithoutlimits.org if you are interested.

Cost: The cost per athlete is approximately 650 euros plus airfare to Italy. If there is enough athlete interest to take a US team we will fundraise to offset some or all of the costs.

Prizes: The first 3 places regardless of country will be awarded prizes. The first 3 European places will also be awarded with gold, silver and bronze medals for the European Championships. Example: If top 5 finishers are from Hungary, Australia, Italy, USA, and Great Britian, then the athletes from Hungary, Italy and Great Britian will win the European title.
